Rain is on a mission to financially empower the American workforce. Through our employer-integrated platform, employees can access their wages following each shift instead of waiting until payday. Rain is a voluntary employee benefit offered at no cost to employers.

Our program eliminates the reliance on high-interest cards and payday loans, breaking cycles of debt. Advanced Integration

Rain's bi-directional integration with Paylocity streamlines implementation and operation, providing employees with access to earned wages in as little as 
45 days. This seamless integration is powered by our payroll adjustment model, which enables a quick, easy, and secure rollout.

  1. Earned wage data is imported from Paylocity.
    1. Rain extracts essential data from Paylocity to provide eligible employees access to earned wages. To prevent unsustainable habits and fees, customizable transaction limits (up to 50% of gross earnings) ensure employees receive positive paychecks on payday.
    2. Basic employee data such as first name, last name, wage rate, wage type, and unique employee ID is imported. Timekeeping information, specifically hours worked, is also extracted.

  2. Wages are accessed via the Rain App.
    Rain provides the funding. Employees transfer to existing bank accounts free via ACH or instantly for a small fee.
  3. Advanced wages are withheld & Rain is repaid.
    At the end of each pay cycle, Rain delivers EWA adjustments that are seamlessly imported into Paylocity via API or automated flat file import. Payroll runs as usual, paying out employees' earned wages while withholding taxes and deductions, including EWA advances. The employer then repays Rain.
